Mechanic / Vehicle Technician – On-Site UK Opportunities
Location: On-site – Multiple Locations Across the United Kingdom
Assignments available with multiple clients across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Placement will depend on experience and preferred location.
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians to join client workshops and service teams across the UK.
This role involves maintenance, servicing, and repair of a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, HGVs, and fleet vehicles. You’ll work with modern diagnostic tools and equipment while contributing to high-quality vehicle maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles
- Perform routine servicing, MOT preparation, and preventive maintenance
- Repair and maintain brakes, suspension, steering, engines, and transmissions
- Test and verify vehicle systems to ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and environment meet health & safety standards
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and workshop teams
- Ensure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Vocational qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle mechanics or automotive engineering
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
