We are looking for a dedicated Plant Fitter to join our team in Rochester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Igne’s plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
As a Plant Fitter, you will service and repair plant equipment, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, keep accurate maintenance records, and ensure all work meets health and safety standards. The role also involves coordinating maintenance to reduce downtime and providing technical support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of plant according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components as needed.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as required.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's licence
