Mechanic / Vehicle Technician – On-Site UK Opportunities
Location
On-site – Multiple Locations Across the United Kingdom
Opportunities available with multiple clients across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Assignments will be based on experience, location preference, and client needs.
About the Role
We are hiring skilled Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians to join our clients’ teams across the UK. This role covers maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, HGVs, and fleet vehicles.
Candidates will gain hands-on experience with modern diagnostic tools and equipment, while contributing to high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles
- Perform routine servicing, MOT preparation, and preventive maintenance
- Repair and maintain brakes, suspension, steering, engines, and transmissions
- Test and verify vehicle systems to ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and environment meet health & safety standards
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and workshop teams
- Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle mechanics or automotive engineering
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
