Mechanic / Vehicle Technician – Nationwide UK Opportunities

Location

On‑site – Multiple Locations Across the United Kingdom

Opportunities available with multiple clients across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Assignments will be based on experience, location preference, and client needs.

About the Role

We are looking for skilled and motivated Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians to join our clients’ teams across the UK. This role includes servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles and mechanical systems in automotive workshops, commercial fleets, and service depots.

Whether your experience spans passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles (HGV), or fleet maintenance, we have multiple roles available to match your skills and career growth aspirations.

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles
  • Carry out servicing, MOT preparation, and routine maintenance
  • Perform brake, suspension, steering, and engine system repairs
  • Test and verify vehicle systems and ensure quality workmanship
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate service records
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and health & safety compliance
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop teams
  • Ensure vehicles meet legal and safety standards prior to release

Requirements

  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle mechanics / automotive engineering
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
