Mechanic

We Offer Our Mechanics

  • £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
  • Additional performance bonuses – Up to £9,000 every three years (terms and conditions apply)
  • Overtime paid – Time and a half
  • Location: Renault/Dacia, Liverpool

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Relevant work experience in the automotive industry
  • Independent & team-based ability – efficient under pressure
  • Strong communication skills – both technical and customer-focused
  • Attention to detail – meticulous in inspections & repairs
  • Proactive attitude – initiative to deliver high-quality work
  • Follow instructions with precision (written & spoken)
  • Full driving licence

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance to industry standards
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using computerised diagnostic tools
  • Repair or replace faulty parts with efficiency
  • Conduct DVSA vehicle tests (if authorised)
  • Road test vehicles post-repair to ensure safety
  • Maintain equipment and keep tools in optimal condition
  • Follow checklists to ensure compliance
  • Comply with documentation standards
