Mechanical Assembler - Finish at 3:30pm Every Friday?
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week) - Enjoy your afternoons with an early 3:30pm finish every day!
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Permanent (following a successful 3-month probation)

Whether you're already experienced with hydraulic systems or have a strong mechanical assembly background and want to develop your skills further, this could be the perfect next step.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling hydraulic equipment and mechanical components
- Cleaning and preparing parts before assembly
- Testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Reading and interpreting engineering (CAD) drawings
- Building heavy plant equipment used within the construction industry
- Supporting other areas of the workshop when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in mechanical fitting or mechanical assembly
- A good understanding of hydraulic systems (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to confidently read engineering drawings
- Pride in producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team
