About The Role
Undertake stores duties, production assembly of OLE components, material handling, and general duties in a safe and efficient manner with OLE components.
What you'll be doing
- Operate part of a Production Assembly department in a safe manner to achieve daily output targets to the correct quality
- Maintain OLE stock system
- Assist with moving materials and general duties as required to support Operations
- Assemble components from drawings and pack for distribution throughout the UK and for shipment overseas
- Work safely always following work instructions and maintain a clean working environment
- Embrace our Zero Harm approach to safety
- Produce quality product and work efficiently
- Contribute to our Continuous Improvement approach and actively help to reduce waste and consider recycling in our processes
- Undertake any other duties as required
Who we're looking for
- Able to use air and electric hand tools, grinders, presses, and pedestal crimping machine, etc.
- Able to read and understand component drawings and assembly instructions
- Candidates must be positive and enthusiastic and support a 'can do' attitude
- Candidates must be reliable and support a continuous improvement culture
- Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas
- Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and can maintain a safe and clean working environment
The Following Qualities/experience Are Desirable
- Experience in the operation of overhead cranes and plant
- Qualified to operate a forklift truck
- Knowledge of OLE materials
