Job Opportunity: Mechanical Assembly Technician
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Mechanical Assembly Technician with a mechanical mindset to work on our innovative low volume high complexity products to join the team at SPT Labtech. You will receive full training and support from our fantastic manufacturing team working on the firefly instrument.

About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working to build instructions to assemble products from simple sub-assemblies to final instrument build and test.
- Having good attention to detail, ability to fault find and problem solve.
- Thriving in a team environment.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- 2+ years' experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent position.
- A BTEC, NVQ or HNC in an engineering discipline.
- A practically minded and hands-on problem solver attitude.
- Be proactive and willing to learn new skills.
- Experience in a low-volume manufacturing environment is a plus, but your attitude will be your biggest attribute.
- Be an entry-level technician looking to improve your skills.
- Be a self-starter and able to manage your own time and workload, but equally happy to be part of a hard-working team.
- Good communication skills.
