Job Description
The Role
We are searching for a Mechanical Associate Director to lead delivery across our Technology/Data Centres sector and act as an ambassador within the EMEA data centre community and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead excellence in technical delivery for hyperscale and co-location clients
- Strengthen client relationships and support growth through work winning and thought leadership
- Serve as an external ambassador within the data centre community across EMEA and an internal ambassador within AECOM Europe and globally
- Execute detailed knowledge of Mechanical design, engineering practices, techniques, and procedures for Data Centres and their interfaces with clients
- Manage project financials effectively
- Lead DC project work streams in the UK and preferably across EMEA
- Ideal for experienced Principal Engineers seeking the next step or established Associate Directors looking for growth within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary company

Qualifications & Requirements
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
We are looking for:
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, ideally aligning with Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with CIBSE or an equivalent institute
- Strong background in the delivery of Mechanical project work across Data Centres and Mission Critical Environments
- Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, including in work winning
- Excellent team leadership with strong development capabilities
- Strong internal and external communication skills, both written and verbal
- An understanding of project financials and financial success through effective management
