Role Overview
Location: Mobile - Covering South
Salary: £53,000 + Car Allowance
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00

Role Overview
You will support the growth of the commissioning team and the alignment of processes across our Data Centre clients. This includes delivering a planned, programmed, auditable, and structured commissioning approach to ensure all installed M&E project services operate to the highest standards and in full alignment with the design intent.

What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to project engineers and contractors throughout the engineering, construction, and commissioning stages of each project.
- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring full compliance with design specifications and all applicable safety standards.
- Develop and maintain thorough project documentation, including commissioning plans, test reports, and operational manuals.
- Ensure all commissioning documentation and safe systems of work are understood and adhered to by all personnel involved in the activity.
- Lead commissioning activity meetings where required.
- Identify technical issues and escalate them to the National Commissioning Manager or engineering support when systems do not perform as expected or defects are identified during commissioning.
- Conduct tests and inspections, when necessary, to confirm that equipment and systems are correctly installed and operating in line with design requirements.
- Work closely with Project Management Teams to ensure commissioning requirements are clearly communicated, planned, and understood.
About The Role
Who you'll be:
- Technical experience as a commissioning engineer, being familiar with the commissioning process throughout the project phases.
- To have a professional approach to work alongside our prestige customer/s.
- Good communications skills to establish and communicate all systems required for successful execution of the Commissioning scope/plan.
- Significant technical experience in Mechanical services, including pumps, valves, pipework and HVAC systems.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges effectively.
- Ideal, but not essential to have good knowledge and understanding of electrical and standby power systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Good working knowledge of design review and reporting technologies.
