Mechanical Construction Manager – Tier One Main Contractor
Location: Central London
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Package
A leading tier one main contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join their team on a prestigious project in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical subcontractors, ensuring programme milestones are achieved, maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on site
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to programme, health & safety, and quality standards
- Liaise with design, planning, and commercial teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor progress against schedule and resolve issues as they arise
- Conduct regular site inspections and attend project meetings
- Ensure all documentation, permits, and compliance requirements are in place
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager on large-scale commercial or life sciences projects
- Strong understanding of building services, particularly within highly serviced environments
- Previous work with tier one main contractors or respected MEP subcontractors preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and SMSTS or equivalent certification
- Ability to manage complex packages and tight programmes
