Mechanical Construction Manager
Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Victoria - London, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Healthcare Construction as a Mechanical Construction Manager.
This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, supporting the delivery of managing construction packages and deliver in a live environment, so experience working on a similar project such as a 'health care' project would be beneficial.
Your Day to Day Will Include:
- Support the Project Manager to manage and supervise on site personnel on a busy construction site.
- Leads by example - sets, monitors, and enforces the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work.
- Taking responsibility for health and safety on site.
- Ensure that employees have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally.
- Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
- Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents and take action as appropriate.
- Manage and train apprentices in accordance with relevant training.
- Use the purchasing system to acquire materials as required in the most cost-effective manner.
- Assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client.

What We Are Looking For:
- Mechanical Trade qualification.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, comfortable dealing with multidisciplinary teams.
- Technical understanding of mechanical systems.
- Proactive people management.
