Mechanical Design Engineer

12 Month Contract | Northamptonshire | £500+ Per Day

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a world-class advanced technology team, delivering projects across motorsport and high-performance automotive applications.

You'll lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components, working across a varied portfolio of advanced technology projects. The role covers the full product lifecycle, from clean-sheet design and concept generation through development, validation, testing, and product introduction.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong 3D CAD experience, ideally using Siemens NX
  • A solid grounding in engineering fundamentals and first-principles design
  • Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems
  • A strong appreciation of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture
  • Background in motorsport, automotive, electrification, or advanced technology

Advantageous:

  • Experience with High Voltage (HV) applications
  • Experience with Internal Combustion Engines, Hybrid Motors, or Electric Motors
