Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge, high-precision products from concept through to manufacture?

We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an innovative engineering team where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and delivering technically challenging products.

What you'll be doing:

  • Mechanical design of precision components and assemblies
  • 3D CAD modelling and manufacturing documentation
  • Design analysis using FEA and hand calculations
  • Working closely with manufacturing to optimise designs for production
  • Supporting product testing, validation, and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone with:

  • Mechanical Design Engineering experience
  • Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred)
  • FEA experience (ANSYS desirable)
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM), CNC machining, and material selection
  • Experience producing manufacturing drawings to BS 8888 and GD&T standards
