Mechanical Design Engineer
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge, high-precision products from concept through to manufacture?
We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an innovative engineering team where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and delivering technically challenging products.
What you'll be doing:
- Mechanical design of precision components and assemblies
- 3D CAD modelling and manufacturing documentation
- Design analysis using FEA and hand calculations
- Working closely with manufacturing to optimise designs for production
- Supporting product testing, validation, and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone with:
- Mechanical Design Engineering experience
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred)
- FEA experience (ANSYS desirable)
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM), CNC machining, and material selection
- Experience producing manufacturing drawings to BS 8888 and GD&T standards
