Type: Full-Time Permanent Location: Derbyshire
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established UK engineering and manufacturing business, specialising in the design and production of advanced packaging and automation machinery. With a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and engineering excellence, they deliver bespoke solutions to customers across highly regulated industries.
Job Responsibilities
- Support mechanical engineering projects from concept design through to commissioning
- Design components, assemblies, and machinery using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Develop innovative engineering solutions for packaging and automation equipment
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulatory and health & safety standards

Skills & Qualifications Required
- Experience designing packaging machinery and/or automation equipment
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD packages
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
