Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, and qualification of high-performance subsea electrical and optical connector systems for harsh offshore environments.
The role involves using CAD and FEA tools to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions, conduct testing and validation.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support product development projects from concept through to manufacture, installation, and operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing technical documentation
- Leading design reviews
- Supporting qualification testing
- Driving continuous improvement
- Contributing to engineering excellence
Key Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in subsea or high-reliability mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, sealing technologies, pressure-rated equipment, and materials selection.
- Knowledge of subsea production systems, connectors, testing, and relevant industry standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEC, IEEE).
