Lutterworth, Leicestershire with Some UK & International Travel
Salary
Competitive, dependent on experience and capability
Working Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

This is a long-term development opportunity within a growing specialist engineering business. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and will be given increasing responsibility and ownership of projects as their skills develop.

Epsilon Pharmaservices Ltd is a specialist engineering consultancy delivering practical engineering solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences industries. Our work ranges from design studies and equipment upgrades through to complete turnkey projects, supporting clients from concept through to installation and commissioning.
We're looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our small specialist engineering team and develop into a key member of the business. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to build on their existing engineering knowledge and gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of engineering projects.

Working alongside our experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in everything from client discussions and site surveys through to design, manufacture, installation and commissioning. As your skills and experience develop, you'll progressively take on greater responsibility and become a trusted contributor to the delivery of engineering solutions for our pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the design and development of bespoke mechanical equipment and engineering solutions.
- Producing and modifying engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Attending client sites to carry out surveys and take detailed measurements.
- Liaising directly with clients and participating in project discussions.
- Supporting specification development, technical documentation and project delivery.
- Assisting with installation, commissioning and testing activities.
What We're Looking For
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (minimum HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent; degree desirable).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work directly with clients.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor would be highly advantageous.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
