Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience using Siemens NX or similar and a background working on gas turbines, rotating equipment or high-integrity mechanical systems? Join a well-established engineering business delivering technically challenging projects within the aerospace, power generation and energy sectors, where you'll work alongside industry experts on complex design solutions.

Your Role As A Mechanical Design Engineer Will Include
- Producing detailed mechanical designs using Siemens NX
- Designing components and assemblies for gas turbine and rotating equipment applications
- Creating 3D models, manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials
- Supporting projects from concept through to manufacture and testing
- Working closely with manufacturing, suppliers and customers to deliver engineering solutions
- Participating in design reviews and engineering calculations
- Ensuring designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications
As A Mechanical Design Engineer You Will Have
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Aerospace or similar Engineering discipline
- Strong experience using Siemens NX or similar
- Experience within gas turbines, rotating equipment, power generation, instrumentation or similar high-integrity engineering environments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Commutable to the Derby area
