Mechanical Electrical Trim (MET) Technician
About The Role Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join our busy, state-of-the-art refurbishment centre in Coalville. In this permanent role, you will have a strong consistent workload (no downtime), a modern workshop with up-to-date equipment and exposure to EV and ADAS technology (training available).
This is a high-volume site with consistent work, no waiting around for jobs, where you’ll be working on a modern fleet using the latest tools, diagnostics and digital job systems. What You’ll Be Doing Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components Carrying out strip and fit work ready for cosmetic repair Using digital job cards to manage work and order parts Supporting fault finding, diagnostics and ADAS calibration Working to high-quality reconditioning standards across a modern vehicle fleet
Due to the nature of this role we will require you on-site in Coalville 5-days per week. Package Up to £37,900 basic Bonus up to 15% 15% pension contribution Hours 45 hours per week 9-hour shifts between 06:30 – 18:00 Shift patterns discussed at interview
About You You’ll be part of a collaborative cosmetic team, focused on delivering high-quality vehicle reconditioning. Attention to detail and pride in your work are key and we’re looking for technicians who care about doing the job properly.

Minimum Criteria Strong MET / strip & fit experience Diagnostic capability Full UK driving licence (manual) Experience with ADAS or EVs is a bonus — not essential
