We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and technical improvement of products, solutions, and systems.
This role focuses on the execution of engineering activities within a defined technical discipline, supporting both product development and the optimization of existing components. You will work with a degree of autonomy while following established policies and processes, with guidance provided through review of results.

What You’ll Be Doing
Design and develop mechanical test rigs to support the validation and assessment of components and systems Contribute to the technical improvement of existing products and components, particularly within rotating equipment (e.g., steam turbines) Apply sound engineering principles to solve complex technical and manufacturing challenges Use tools such as Catia V5 to create and validate designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management Interpret technical requirements and ensure designs meet business, customer, and regulatory standards Present technical findings and contribute to team discussions and decision-making

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Solid experience in mechanical design, analysis, or evaluation Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
Desired Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Catia V5 Understanding of rotating equipment (e.g., turbines, pumps, compressors, motors) Experience working with complex manufacturing processes Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts Ability to plan, document, and execute engineering work effectively

This work is undertaken with UK Defence customers which will require any individual applying for the role to hold or be capable of getting SC Level clearance. Applicants not cleared will not be accepted into the business until this clearance is provided. Dual passport holders are acceptable if the second country is approved by the vetting authority.
