Role: Mechanical Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)

Job Type: Contract

Payout: $20 - $40/hour

Role Overview

The client seeks an Engineering Expert to provide specialized technical guidance for system architecture decisions, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing performance across distributed systems. The role requires deep expertise in multiple engineering domains to support critical infrastructure and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate scalable system architectures to meet evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve high-priority technical issues in production environments with minimal downtime.
  • Develop and document engineering best practices, standards, and guidelines for cross-team adoption.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or large-scale backend infrastructure.
