Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for a rewarding career?
G4S Facilities Management is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: From £43,469.80 Per Annum

- Full-Time: 42 hours/week, 2 day shifts [7am - 7pm], 2 night shifts [7pm - 7am], 4 days off.
About The Role
You will be responsible for providing a range of mechanical engineering services, including:
- Undertake statutory and routine inspections of a variety of mechanical plant
- Respond to defects, undertaking routine repairs as required
- Conduct all work to high standards, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to SLA, KPIs, site policies, and Health and Safety regulations.
- Monitor and utilize PDA devices for service delivery
- Identify and requisition materials for routine and repair maintenance
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous service improvement
- Support a safe, clean, and healthy working environment.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Maintain a professional attitude and image.

Who We Are Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to obtain DV clearance
- Previous experience in a facilities maintenance environment
Desirable:
- Mechanical to electrical conversion course
- IPAF or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of wet systems
- Microsoft proficiency
