This is what you'll be doing

  • Take ownership of mechanical breakdowns and drive rapid fault diagnosis to maximise equipment availability and minimise production downtime
  • Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of FMCG production and packaging equipment
  • Support the development of engineers on shift, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practice is followed

  • Utilise machining and fabrication skills to manufacture, modify and repair components where required
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, applying formal fluid power knowledge to maintain equipment reliability
  • Support electrical fault finding and maintenance activities, which make up approximately 20% of the role
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency and reducing recurring faults
  • Assist with equipment installations, site projects and machinery upgrades from planning through to commissioning
  • Ensure maintenance records are completed accurately and all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
