Location: Hatfield

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Available

Mechanical Engineer – Join a Growing and Supportive Team

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our established team based in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with excellent earning potential through overtime, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

Working within a professional and supportive environment, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and general mechanical maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to minimise downtime.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable.
