Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator
📍 West London (Greenford)
Strictly Office Based
💰 £80,000 to £90,000 | Permanent | Full-time
About the Role
We are working with a well-established, family-owned M&E contractor based in West London who have been trading for nearly 40 years. They specialise in fast-track commercial fit-outs, refurbishment, and plant replacement, much of it in live, occupied buildings where minimal disruption is critical.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team permanently, reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate mechanical estimates and tender submissions
- Carry out mechanical take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, and consultants throughout the tender process
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
- Identify project risks and opportunities at tender stage
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within an established M&E contractor
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC, pipework, public health, and plant replacement
- Experience pricing commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or live building projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
