About The Company
MJM is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a skilled team at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.
You will play a vital role in maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow's critical infrastructure, ensuring systems operate efficiently in one of the world’s busiest airports.
Role Overview
As a Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for the upkeep and optimisation of automated systems to maximise productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard
- Conducting fault diagnosis, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance
- Identifying and resolving mechanical faults promptly
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless system performance
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience installing and maintaining large-scale industrial systems, ideally within airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Relevant mechanical qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or above)
- Valid CSCS Card – mandatory
- Availability to work a rotating schedule covering days, nights, and weekends
- Strong fault-finding skills with a proactive, safety-conscious approach

Desirable Experience
The Following Would Be Advantageous
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automated environments
- A verifiable 5-year work history, essential for Airside pass clearance
