Description
Impact Recruitment are currently supporting a client who are looking for a PDI Engineer where you will have the responsibility of accurately checking products and completing quality audits before delivery. In this role you will be responsible for conducting mechanical work, documentation, and working within a small team.
Role: PDI Engineer
Location: Brackmills Northampton
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm
Salary Range: £14.40 per hour

Contract: Temp to perm
You will be responsible for ensuring that all products are finished to the highest quality and meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of products before they leave the warehouse
- Fitting additional genuine mechanical parts to products
- Fitting aftermarket parts such as attachments, safety devices, and hydraulic services
- General fault finding and diagnostic tasks
- Ensuring excellent communication between departments
- Completing PDI worksheets to a high standard
- Loading and unloading of containers as requested
- Housekeeping in the warehouse and yard

Requirements
- Material handling experience
- Experience with general mechanical servicing and repairs
- Mechanical experience
- General electrical knowledge
- Able to use and work with hand tools
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Must be literate and able to complete paperwork
