I am recruiting for two workshop based Mechanical Fitter to manufacture and assemble pieces of equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- To undertake projects to ensure that they comply with relevant customer specifications.
- Modify & rebuild existing machines.
- To manufacture new machines.
- Ability to read and work from design drawings.
- To work and keep a selection of spare parts for the above machines.
- To communicate and report progress to their manager on jobs.
- To report snagging details which may need identifying and correcting.
- To work to a high standard through the manufacturing and rebuilding of the machines.
- Work on own initiative clean and tidy area.
- To work within and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
Job Details
LOCATION - Nelson
SHIFT - Days (39 hours per week)
SALARY - £33157.80 (£16.35 per hour)
Overtime - 1.5 times hourly rate
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Pension - Matched contributions up to 7%
Death in Service - 2 x annual salary
