Company Overview
Join a well-established heavy engineering company specialising in industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role in a technical, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role And Responsibilities
- Carry out fault diagnosis, preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial plant and equipment
- Install, repair and maintain mechanical transmissions, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting and repairs using fabrication, welding and machining techniques
- Execute routine maintenance, lubrication schedules and safety checks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational efficiency

Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Strong background in heavy engineering and mechanical fitting
- Qualified via Mechanical/Electrical HNC or apprenticeship. Hands-on experience preferred
- Experience working with heavy industrial machinery or production equipment
- Skills in welding, fabrication, machining and mechanical troubleshooting
- Advantageous: Siemens S7 or CAM programming
