Overview
This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. Inspectors will document outcomes using an accept/reject reporting system.
Responsibilities
- Inspect complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies against engineering standards
- Micro-manage Goods-in Inspection processes to validate dimensional and functional accuracy
- Verify compliance with ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent
- Record and report findings for acceptance/rejection

Requirements
- Experience in visual and dimensional inspection of machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs)
- Proficiency in using precision inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- CMM experience is a strong advantage
- Practical knowledge of engineering tolerances and standards required
