Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Pumping Stations

Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Starting salary (plus overtime):

  • £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
  • £35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)

Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £47,840 basic with further training and experience.

About the Role

Join our proactive pumping station servicing teams as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, responsible for optimising performance and resilience of our assets using technology like Ovarro data. Key tasks include:

  • Carrying out general repairs
  • Investigating and rectifying faults
  • Completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets

This role goes beyond task completion—it’s about protecting our environment.

Location & Working Pattern

  • Permanent full-time, with flexibility for part-time (37 hours weekly, 4-day working pattern)
  • Coverage area: Lincoln, Louth, Humber, and surrounding regions

Requirements

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • At least NVQ Level 2 (ideally Level 3) in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Completed a relevant apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving licence
