Job Title

About the Role

To identify areas for continuous improvement across the Group and improve efficiencies on Projects. To monitor developments within the construction industry and that will drive process improvement on site. To roll-out change management programmes, as identified. To be the custodian of new continuous improvement register and report on progress of same.

Deliver internal projects identified for continuous improvement, by supporting Senior Management. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of Project Dashboard audits and provide updated reports. Conduct internal Quality Audits for process improvement. Supporting the identification and roll-out of an ERP solution, including attending workshops. Become a change agent within the Group for successful change management. Working within cross-functional teams to deliver efficiencies and internal projects.

THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED 5 DAYS PER WEEK ON SITE IN MULLAGHBAWN, NEWRY, CO. DOWN WITH REQUIREMENT TO TRAVEL TO SITES ACROSS EUROPE

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical support of regulatory systems to ensure our Management System is effective and efficient.
  • Review and monitor the Project Dashboard coaching and auditing process, with status updates provided.
  • Lead and support QA/QC inspectors and commissioning engineers.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality procedures and commissioning processes.
  • Set-up, implement and roll-out the ASEE Way Academy and associated Training modules.
  • Provide continuous Quality Training support – to projects and Internal Functional Departments
  • Carry out research on new Quality Initiatives / Projects and develop research/implementation packs for effective roll-out
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Ensure systems are tested in accordance with design specifications and commissioning protocols.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients during testing and commissioning stages.
  • Witness and verify functional testing, system integration, and performance verification.
  • Ensure updated Standards / Regulations are maintained within the Standards Library within our intranet, for each discipline
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to deliver synergies and lean processes, as required for the Group.
  • Involved in the identification and roll-out of a companywide ERP solution, as required.
  • Review / Monitor change management initiatives that need to be roll-out globally onto Projects / Sites.
  • You will proactively and vigilantly keep information secure and fully comply with the ASEE Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Accredited certificate in engineering subjects such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in the use of google suite software
  • 3+ years’ experience in a QA/QC position
  • Must be eligible to work in Europe

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant certification in Quality Management (Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISTQB).
