We are looking for people who enjoy solving engineering problems, working collaboratively, and developing their skills over time. • Ensuring mechanical designs comply with applicable safety standards and regulations to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
  • Supporting design risk assessment activities and ensuring mechanical designs are developed in accordance with applicable safety legislation, CDM requirements, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting engineering planning activities, identifying technical risks and opportunities, and contributing to the successful delivery of project milestones.
  • Designing solutions that can be manufactured within agreed budgets
  • Working collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and third-party partners while representing Vanderlande's professional and commercial interests throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinating third-party equipment specifications and integration
  • Producing project layout packages using tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Maintaining high-quality file and data management
  • Producing clear engineering instructions and documentation
  • Continuously developing your skills and contributing to improvements in processes and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
