🔩 Mechanical Project Manager (Pipework)
📍 South Wales | Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle
Looking for a role where you can take ownership of projects rather than just oversee them? We're partnering with a growing mechanical engineering contractor that has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality pipework and plant room installations across commercial and industrial environments. With a healthy order book and continued growth plans, they're looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager into the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong pipework background who enjoys running projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients, leading site teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.
The Role
You'll be trusted to manage projects from pre-construction through to final handover, taking responsibility for programme, commercial performance, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
