Location: London

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + Package

Mechanical Project Manager | Leading Building Services Contractor | London

An established and highly respected Building Services Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join its growing London team.

With an impressive portfolio of high-profile commercial, residential, life sciences, healthcare, and mixed-use developments across London and the South East, this contractor has built a reputation for delivering technically challenging MEP projects to the highest standards. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Mechanical Project Manager to play a key role in delivering landmark projects.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical building services packages on projects ranging from £5m to £30m+.

  • Managing mechanical packages from design through to commissioning and handover.
  • Monitoring programme, quality, health & safety, and project budgets.
  • Chairing progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and design changes.
  • Managing procurement of plant and materials.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supporting commercial teams with valuations, variations, and cost control.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

  • A proven track record delivering mechanical building services projects.
  • Experience working for an M&E Contractor or Building Services Contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, public health, and mechanical installations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing project programmes.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
  • Relevant mechanical engineering or building services qualifications.
