Mechanical Project Manager
TClarke | London | Major Data Centre Project
Competitive Salary + Comprehensive Benefits (Freelance Considered)
TClarke is one of the UK's leading Building Services Engineering contractors, delivering complex MEP solutions across some of the country's most prestigious commercial, data centre, healthcare, life science, infrastructure, and specialist projects.
With a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects and a growing presence within the mission-critical sector, TClarke is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre development in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected Tier 1 MEP contractor and play a key role in delivering a high-value mechanical package, working alongside experienced operational teams, clients, consultants, and specialist supply chain partners.
The Role
As a Mechanical Project Manager at TClarke, you will take ownership of a key mechanical package on a major Data Centre project. Reporting into an experienced Project Director and supported by a dedicated, site-based Operations Director, you will work as part of an established delivery team alongside other Mechanical Project Managers, Engineers, and specialist subcontractors.
You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of mechanical installation works from construction through to completion, ensuring packages are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The role will involve managing complex mechanical systems including ductwork, HVAC, ventilation, air systems, and associated mechanical packages, working closely with internal teams and supply chain partners to achieve successful project delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
