Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC & Building Services)
Location: Home-based within the Midlands, Central or South of England, with regular travel to project sites across the UK and our Head Office in Shrewsbury (SY2 5ST). A Midlands base is preferred.
Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 per annum + £6,300 Car Allowance

ARH Group is a leading provider of Facilities Management and Building Services solutions, delivering high-quality engineering projects across the UK since 1990.
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our Building Services team, leading the successful delivery of technically challenging HVAC and Mechanical Building Services projects valued between £150,000 and £1.5 million.
This is a delivery-focused role, taking ownership of projects immediately following contract award through to commissioning and successful client handover.
Please note: This is a specialist Mechanical Project Management position. Applicants should have a strong technical background in HVAC, plumbing and mechanical pipework installations, together with a minimum of three years' demonstrable experience delivering Mechanical Building Services projects.
The Role
Working closely with our Commercial, Design and Operational teams, you'll coordinate every stage of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards.

Typical projects include:
- HVAC installations and refurbishments
- Plant room installations and upgrades
- Commercial heating and cooling systems
- Mechanical pipework installations
- Plumbing and public health services
- AHU replacements and ventilation systems
You'll be responsible for coordinating:
- Client relationships
- Site Managers
- Directly employed engineers
- Agency labour
- Specialist subcontractors
- Suppliers and internal project teams
What You'll Need
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing Mechanical Building Services projects.
- Proven experience delivering projects valued between £150,000 and £1.5 million.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical pipework and commercial heating and cooling systems.
- Experience managing labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- SMSTS / or CSCS (or willingness to obtain before starting)
