Mechanical Site Supervisor
We're looking for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join our Thames Water East Hyde Project team based in Harpenden STW, Hertfordshire.
Location: Harpenden STW, Hertfordshire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available may be available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to work within our Thames Water East Hyde Project. As a Kier Mechanical Site Supervisor, your role will be to supervise and control all mechanical site activities, ensuring compliance with Kier's health and safety standards are met at all times. You'll be working as part of our strategic partnership with Thames Water, delivering design and build services for new and existing infrastructure assets.

- Supporting the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, supply chain partners and visitors
- Supervising work to ensure it is carried out in accordance with Method Statements and Work Instructions
- Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring they are managed through Kier's common data environment
- Overseeing mechanical contractor testing and ensuring works are in line with Thames Waters asset standards
- Working with the supply chain on site to fault find and support the development of commissioning documentation
Requirements
This role of Mechanical Site Supervisor is great for you if:
- You hold a Full driving licence and have proven industry experience in the Water Industry
- You have an NVQ/BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical installations and a relevant CSCS Card
- You hold SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Spaces qualifications
- You have a good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant/equipment
- You have competent judgement and problem-solving skills with an understanding of Mechanical Test Regimes
