# About the Role

If you join us, you’ll play a vital part as a Mechanical Technical Officer at our Donnington site, supporting critical defence capabilities and ensuring essential assets remain available, compliant, and operationally ready for the Royal Navy, Army, and RAF.
# The Role: An Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of specialist equipment across its entire lifecycle, working across engineering, maintenance, logistics, procurement, quality assurance, and supplier management. You’ll join a specialist team focused on delivering effective, cost-efficient support solutions while upholding the highest technical standards.
# Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Technical Officer, your role will include:
- Managing the lifecycle support of Test and Measurement Equipment (T&M)
- Coordinating maintenance, calibration, inventory, and logistics activities
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation and engineering records
- Supporting procurement activities and supplier performance management
- Monitoring equipment compliance, availability, and ongoing support needs

The role is full-time, permanent, based on-site in Donnington (37 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
# Essential Criteria for This Role
Experience: ✅ Experience in a project-based environment ✅ Proven ability to produce or manage technical documentation ✅ Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills ✅ Experience supporting engineering or technical equipment activities ✅ Ability to work across multiple priorities and workstreams
Qualifications: ✅ Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics apprenticeship ✅ ONC level qualification in Engineering or equivalent ✅ Full UK driving licence
