Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Perform & document maintenance on critical equipment such as:
- Conveyors, Pumps, Valves, Compressors
- Hydraulic systems & mechanical equipment at our Biomass Power Station
- Problem-solving champion specialising in:
- Root cause analysis using structured methodologies
- Guided modification suggestions
- System maintenance including:
- Intricate inspections & repairs across mechanical systems
- Log updates via Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Equipment optimisation by proposing and refining existing processes
- Team collaboration: Coordinate with contractors to uphold company safety and compliance standards
- Inventory management: Oversee mechanical spares and consumables
Required Qualifications & Skills
Essential Requirements
- Mechanical expertise: A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Technical understanding: Preferably at least an HNC (or comparable)
- Drawing interpretation & maintenance techniques: Comprehensive knowledge in mechanical systems
- Data-driven approach: Analysing and determining maintenance procedures
