Responsibilities

Key Duties

  • Perform & document maintenance on critical equipment such as:
    • Conveyors, Pumps, Valves, Compressors
    • Hydraulic systems & mechanical equipment at our Biomass Power Station
  • Problem-solving champion specialising in:
    • Root cause analysis using structured methodologies
    • Guided modification suggestions
  • System maintenance including:
    • Intricate inspections & repairs across mechanical systems
    • Log updates via Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Equipment optimisation by proposing and refining existing processes
  • Team collaboration: Coordinate with contractors to uphold company safety and compliance standards
  • Inventory management: Oversee mechanical spares and consumables

Required Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Mechanical expertise: A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Technical understanding: Preferably at least an HNC (or comparable)
  • Drawing interpretation & maintenance techniques: Comprehensive knowledge in mechanical systems
  • Data-driven approach: Analysing and determining maintenance procedures
