Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber

Location: Peckham, London

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to join a successful and expanding organization based in Peckham, London. The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across the site. You will ensure all mechanical systems, plumbing installations, and associated equipment are maintained to a safe and efficient standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
  • Complete plumbing repairs, installations, and fault finding
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and plumbing issues efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Work in line with company health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Plumber, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to carry out fault finding and repairs independently
  • Good understanding of health and safety standards
  • Relevant trade qualifications or recognised experience within the industry
