Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Media Relations Executive for a well-known brand in Tamworth.
You will be supporting PR activity across multiple brands, creating engaging content, managing press office activity, and helping to protect and enhance their reputation within the industry.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys writing, spotting great stories, and working closely with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality communications.
This is a growing company, with multiple verticals and lots of growth and progression opportunities.
This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Media Relations Executive you will be responsible for:
- Drive strategic PR planning, delivering proactive and reactive media activity aligned with group marketing objectives.
- Create and oversee clear, accurate content for trade media — from articles and product news to case studies and award entries.
- Spot good stories across the business and turn them into strong media opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry publications, securing valuable coverage.
- Run the press office, ensuring quick, accurate responses and keeping track of media and competitor activity.
- Work closely with internal teams, supporting planning meetings and helping with copy for websites and marketing materials.
- Promote and protect the brand by ensuring all external communications follow tone-of-voice and industry standards.

Skills & experience required
- Experience in a Media Relations role, copywriting experience is essential
- Confident and able to form relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally
- Able to lead and take ownership of projects or campaigns from a media relations perspective.

- Salary of up to £38,000
