A superb opportunity is available for a dynamic and experienced Media & Communications Disputes Senior Associate to join a sought-after firm, highly regarded in the media and communications space.
The firm’s Media & Comms Disputes team is consistently recognised as Band 1 and Top Tier in both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500. The firm offers exposure to high-quality work with well-known clients, including newspapers, broadcasters, publishers, production companies, streaming and social media platforms, and media insurance companies.
The Role
- Predominantly focused on defendant media litigation, but also includes commercial litigation matters
- Manage your own caseload while supporting Partners across the wider team
- Team is defendant-focused, but strong claimant-side experience candidates will also be considered
- Work covers:
- Defamation
- Privacy
- Data protection
- Contempt
- IP-related disputes
- Clearance & pre-publication advice
- Media litigation
- Wider commercial disputes

What You Will Bring
Option 1: Defendant-Focused Media & Communications Background
- Dynamic and driven Senior Solicitor with 4-6 PQE with strong defendant-based Media and Communications litigation experience
Option 2: Commercial Litigation with Media Passion
- 4-6 PQE Solicitor with very strong commercial litigation experience, complemented by a passion for transitioning into Media litigation
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience gained in a well-recognised London firm
- Beneficial (though not essential) exposure to non-media litigation such as commercial, insolvency, or corporate disputes
