Why This Role Exists

As BizClik continues to scale globally, we are expanding our Marketing Chief portfolio, spanning digital media, executive communities, thought leadership content and international events.

The Media Director-Marketing Chief exists to drive commercial growth across this portfolio, building strategic partnerships with organisations operating across the global marketing, advertising, customer experience, brand, digital transformation and technology ecosystem.

This role exists to:

  • Drive revenue across Marketing Chief media, digital and event platforms
  • Build long-term partnerships with marketing, technology and agency leaders
  • Position Marketing Chief at the centre of global marketing conversations
  • Support the growth and development of Marketing Chief and associated events, reports, podcasts and executive communities

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth

  • Drive sponsorship, content and event revenue across Marketing Chief platforms
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline across marketing technology providers, agencies, consultancies, customer experience platforms, AI businesses, analytics providers and enterprise brands
  • Sell integrated partnerships across events, digital media, reports, webinars, podcasts and content campaigns
  • Close high-value commercial agreements with senior stakeholders
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and emerging market trends

Client Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with senior leaders across the global marketing and customer experience sector
  • Engage with CMOs, Chief Growth Officers, Chief Customer Officers, Chief Digital Officers, marketing leaders and brand executives
  • Represent BizClik at industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events
  • Deliver long-term partnership value and maximise account retention and growth

Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with Editorial, Marketing, Production and Events teams
  • Use audience, campaign and market data to inform commercial decisions
  • Provide market insight to support platform growth and content development
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the Marketing Chief portfolio

Performance and Reporting

  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
  • Track campaign performance and client ROI
  • Report regularly on commercial activity and market opportunities

The ideal Media Director – Marketing Chief:

  • Understands the marketing, advertising, customer experience and digital transformation landscape
  • Is comfortable engaging with senior executives and industry decision-makers
  • Builds trusted long-term commercial relationships
  • Identifies market trends and commercial opportunities
  • Consistently exceeds revenue targets
  • Operates with a strategic and consultative sales approach

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Proven B2B media, events or commercial partnership sales experience
  • Strong business development and account management capability
  • Experience selling to enterprise-level organisations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering revenue growth

Desirable

  • Experience within marketing, advertising, media, martech, customer experience, digital transformation or related sectors
  • Existing network within the marketing ecosystem
  • Understanding of AI in marketing, customer engagement, brand strategy, demand generation, analytics and marketing technology
