Media Planning Manager
£45,000 | Hybrid (3 days per week in office) | London
The Opportunity
A leading global media and marketing network is looking for a Media Planning Manager to join their team, working on one of the network's biggest and most high-profile global accounts.
This is a true planning-focused role (approx. 80% offline / 20% digital), covering channels including TV and linear, with cross-channel marketing (XCM) and retail media planning also forming part of the remit. Some knowledge of activation and digital platforms is a strong advantage, but this is not an activation-heavy position.
You'll be working within a specialist "open door" style integrated team, sitting close to both planning and activation functions, and will play a genuinely international role — collaborating with teams and stakeholders across 12 European markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Be Doing
- Owning campaign planning and management across offline and cross-channel activity
- Acting as a key client-facing contact, overseeing communications and campaign intent
- Collaborating closely with planning and activation teams across multiple European markets
- Presenting directly from planning and data platforms (experience with tools such as Talkwalker/Tableau-style data or planning platforms is a plus, though not essential)
- Managing international stakeholders and ensuring consistency of approach across regions
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in media planning, ideally with exposure to offline/TV and cross-channel campaigns
- Some activation knowledge/experience is a bonus, but not the core focus of the role
- Proven experience managing international or multi-market campaigns and stakeholders (candidates with UK-only market experience are less likely to be considered, unless truly exceptional across all other criteria)
- Confident, senior client-facing communication skills
- Comfortable working with global blue-chip brands in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong platform/data literacy is desirable
