Media Relations Manager

£60,000–£75,000 | London Hybrid

We're looking for an experienced Media Relations Manager to lead high-profile media engagement for a leading financial services organisation.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years' experience in media relations, ideally gained within a PR/media agency working with financial services clients, or in-house within the financial services sector.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering proactive media strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with national, trade, and broadcast journalists.
  • Managing press enquiries and reputation issues.
  • Creating compelling media content and campaigns.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Requirements

We're looking for:

  • 5+ years' media relations experience.
  • Agency background strongly preferred, particularly with financial services clients.
  • Excellent media contacts and a track record of securing coverage.
  • Outstanding writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience across corporate communications, reputation, and campaign delivery.
