About the Role:
Reporting to the Media Manager, Media Consultants are new business development professionals who generate leads and sell content marketing solutions from our media partners and across a variety of themes and sectors, to grow our loyal client base.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation – Utilize different tools and industry resources to generate and qualify new leads in line with our content marketing calendar. Canvassing – Proactively engage and start new conversations with qualified prospects by telephone, email and LinkedIn, whilst navigating company CRM and adhering to GDPR and data privacy best practices. New Business Development – Sell trusted advertising and content marketing solutions in print and online from a variety of different media partners and platforms. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – Input and maintain accurate records of all lead generation, canvassing, new business communications, conversations and pipelines. Trusted Advice – Understand prospects marketing objectives and conduct due diligence to recommend suitable content marketing campaign options. Industry Knowledge – Continuously develop understanding of press and digital channels, themes, sectors and regularly attend training to stay up to date with the latest trends and insights. Department Liaison – Regular communication with production, admin, marketing and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of campaigns. Client Retention – Demonstrate excellent customer service with ongoing/post publication follow-up and nurture new client relationships to encourage repeat business and future account management. Targets – Achieve and exceed company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including weekly call time, sales profit, cross selling, lead gen and CRM interactions.

Essential Skills: Strong communication. Articulate with professional phone manner. Organised with good time management skills. Ability to work independently and within a team.
Desirable Skills: Industry knowledge of press and/or digital and/or OOH and/or broadcast media. Understanding of sales, marketing and advertising. Familiarity with CRM systems.
Experience (non-essential): Track record of sales performance. Degree or formal training in marketing. Background in Sales, Telesales, Retail, Hospitality or Customer Service.

Remuneration:
Salary: £25K-£35K Per Annum + Uncapped commission (OTE £70,000+)
