Job Summary
Are you a high-energy sales professional who lives and breathes social media? This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, social-first media publisher dedicated to UK Gen Z culture. As an early member of the commercial team, you won't just be making dials; you will be the engine room of the business, helping the world’s most exciting brands connect with a youth audience through authentic, viral content. This is a high-activity, full-cycle role designed for a "hunter" who wants to move beyond simple lead generation and take full ownership of the sales process, from the first "hello" to the final signature.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound activity (500+ touches per week) across email, LinkedIn, and phone to identify and engage decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and booking discovery meetings to developing campaign proposals and closing deals.
- Identify and target relevant brands and marketers, creating tailored commercial angles that resonate with their specific marketing objectives.
- Consistently maintain a qualified pipeline worth at least 4x your quarterly revenue target.
- Lead discovery meetings and present commercially credible briefs focused on branded content, CPMs, and paid amplification.
- Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, ensuring every prospect has a clear next action and follow-up date.
- Negotiate commercials and protect margins to hit revenue targets of £60k–£75k per quarter once fully ramped.
- Transition from initial new business acquisition into long-term account ownership, renewals, and strategic upselling.

Requirements
- 2+ years of demonstrable outbound B2B sales experience (advertising, media, or adtech preferred).
- A proven track record of personally originating opportunities and closing revenue.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape: CPMs, media budgets, campaign briefs, and branded content.
- A "Social-First" mindset: Native understanding of Gen Z culture and how brands live on social media platforms.
- High resilience and competitiveness, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain high activity levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to be persuasive in high-stakes meetings.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to qualify budgets and handle objections effectively.
- Must be based in London (onshore) and able to work GMT hours.
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience selling media products to UK brands (direct-to-brand experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo.
- Existing relationships with brand marketers or creative agencies.
