Medical Account Executive - Warrington– (Job Ref: 26/RMAE)

Our staff are at the heart of everything we do and achieve. We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Medical Account Executive based in Warrington.

Unit 2 Bishops Court, Warrington, WA2 8QY

Contract Offered

Full-time, permanent

Working Hours / Shifts

40 hours per week contract. 8.40am to 5.20pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday work will be required (every 3rd or 4th Saturday). When working on a Saturday, you will get another day off in the week.

What does this role involve?

This role is responsible for ensuring that a high quality, personalised experience is provided for all private medical companies using Randox pathology services. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the daily account management needs of hospital, clinics, and pharmacy customers are met
  • Communicating with medical and scientific communities through a number of methods such as emails, written, presentations, and meetings
  • Learning and retaining scientific knowledge to be able to communicate with the medical and scientific community
  • Familiarising yourself with the various clinical and laboratory pathways employed by various sectors of the market
  • Establishing the most suitable corporate and contractual relationship within a diverse marketplace
  • Continually speaking with the R&D and quality teams to provide a mix of scientific writing, strategy development, and marketing as a means to develop more business.

Essential criteria

  • Qualified to at least bachelor’s level or equivalent in a life science or medical discipline
  • Excellent communication skills to develop new relationships with diverse customers
  • Commitment to continued learning and self-education in the biotechnology market
  • Scientific writing skills for PR, marketing, and publications
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software applications
  • Be able to confidently discuss, calculate, and document the financial status of customer accounts and pricing

Desirable

  • Previous work experience in the diagnostics/clinical pathology market
  • Previous work experience in the primary care market
