About the Role
Proclinical is currently partnering with an innovative organisation at the forefront of precision oncology to recruit a Medical Affairs Lead for the UK & Ireland medical strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Affairs professional looking to take ownership of a market, influence strategy and work closely with Commercial, Market Access and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and executing the UK & Ireland Medical Affairs strategy.
- Building and maintaining relationships with leading Oncology, Surgical and Pathology KOLs.
- Leading scientific exchange, medical education initiatives and advisory boards.
- Supporting evidence generation, investigator-sponsored research and reimbursement activities.
- Delivering medical leadership across promotional review, internal training and cross-functional projects.

Our client is looking for:
- An MD, PharmD or PhD.
- Proven working years' Medical Affairs experience within pharma, biotech or diagnostics.
- A strong oncology background (breast cancer experience would be advantageous, although broader solid tumour experience will also be considered).
- Extensive KOL engagement experience and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.
- Strong communication skills and experience working within cross-functional matrix organisations.
Location:
- Hybrid - candidates should be able to travel to London regularly (approximately two days per week).
